Blog Assignment 11

What can we learn about teaching and learning from these teachers?

Brian Crosby was able to teach every subject through his high altitude balloon project in Back to the Future.  Mr. Crosby tied all project to incorporate all the state learning standards.  He also used the class blogs to determine his class's knowledge of the project instead of giving out exams.  The kids are able to share their work with the world, giving them a sense of accomplishment.  Through this project, the students were able to expand their PLN through "High Hopes," these were the hopes from children all over the world.  Through the students' learning networks, they taught students from a different country their experiment.  Mr. Crosby's class was able to include a child with leukemia through technology.
